
The cultural and social organizations are very active in Puthiyangadi. Each organizations aim to establish different services for the development of this village. Some aim to develop the cultural and social activities while others are involved in the development of sports. The organizations which have been very active for a long time are: Youth Movement of Beach Road, Voice of Youth, Moulana Muhammed Ali Youth Centre and so on. Youth Movement of Beach Road (YMBR)
The Youth Movement of Beach Road was formed in 1985 by a few spirited young men of Puthiyangadi. The Movement is very popular in the village, because of their visionary activities. These youths have aspired to use this cultural organization as an instrument for the literacy development of the villagers. Accordingly they established the Allama Mohammed Iqbal Memorial Reading Room and Library The library is stocked with some 1500 books and is supplied with a number of local dailies and
news- magazines. The Movement has been organizing relief works, cultural and sporting activities. Houses were constructed for two poor families.
In 1994, they set up a book bank in order to assist the needy students in Puthiyangadi Jama-ath High School. Another noteworthy achievement is the blood donors’ forum, which has members from all blood groups. Every year Medical camps used to be held in order to provide free medical Check-ups for the people. The Movement have won many trophies and medals in sports and in Fine arts programs. A 21 members working committee giving direction to all activities of the Movement since its inception, has members representing a cross section of the
Puthiyangadi village. This Movement has its office located at Puthiyangadi –Beach Road.

Voice of Youth
Voice of Youth is a socio-cultural organization in puthiyangadi. They are actively working in the areas of socio-educational and the cultural fields of puthiyangadi since 1987. They have a strong dedicated team of young people committed to serve the society in an unselfish manner. They are actively participating in the literacy continuing education programme launched by the govt. of kerala since its beginning and achieved best result. They made it possible the 'AKSHARA PULARI' first time in kerala with the help of G. M U.P School staff and the PTA. Now the 'THUDAR VIDYA KENDRA'(second phase of literacy programme) is currently running
under Voice of Youth and managing the continuing literacy programme throughout madayi panchayath.We affiliated to 'Nehru Yuvak Kendra'. They have a library and reading room with around 2000 books for public use. They also have a blood donors wing to help the public in case of any emergency blood requirements.

Moulana Muhammed Ali Youth Centre.
Puthiyangadi Maulana Muhammed Ali Youth Center was formed in 1992. This organization is situated in Angadi(Juma Masjid area). In the olden times, "angadi"area was the center for the socio-educational and the cultural activities of Puthiyangadians. "Angadi"contributed a lot of prominent personalities in the field of public services including four presidents of Madayi Grama Panchayath. The Moulana Muhammed Ali Youth Centre plays a major role in refreshing Angadi's past cultural activities. They have a strong dedicated team of young people to serve the community.
Their activities include setting up library and reading room, award distribution for students who passed the public examinations, relief works, study classes etc;. They constructed a house for a poor family and they have a marriage fund for the needy women. A 25 members working committee give directions to all the activities of the centre since its inception. It has members representing a large section of the village.

Al Huda Arts and Sports Club
Al Huda Arts and Sports Club was inaugurated in March 1990. Al Huda is situated in Puthiyavalappu Puthiyangdi. It organized a number of socio cultural activities in Puthiyangadi. It has organized football tournaments at the district level and Annual day functions which gives much importance to arts. This club has been an active participant in organizing relief work for the poor and backward classes in the society and educational guidance for the upliftment of the community. A library and a reading room were set up by this club. Today, more than 60 energetic youth members
work under Al Huda.
